Brenda Lord is the Vice President of Store Brands and Quality Assurance for CVS Health, joining the company in 2018.

Prior to CVS Health, Brenda led Staples in a variety of Merchandising and Private Brand roles. Her impact was felt broadly as VP, Product Management & Development for their private label business, VP Integration and VP Global Vendor Management & Merchandising Portfolio Strategy.  She also held several roles focused on international business development (Europe, Australia, China, Japan, Argentina, Brazil, and India), and a merchandising leadership assignment in China.

Earlier in her career, she was a VP at Test Rite, an Asian global sourcing company, and held buying roles at Staples and Ames Department Stores.

Brenda earned an MBA from Babson College and a bachelor’s degree in Retail Management from Purdue University.

Heather Corkery is the Senior Director of Brand, Packaging and Creative for CVS. She has been with CVS contributing to various functions for 20+ years.  She has held roles of increasing responsibility at CVS in Merchandising and Marketing.  She drove the Front Store as the Category Manager for Grocery, Snacks, and Beverage and led the Front Store Marketing team through retail acquisition, the integration of MinuteClinic and the adoption of ExtraCare.

She started her career in sales with M&M/Mars and then transitioned to account management and research with Nielsen.

Heather is passionate about the development of Store Brands that support the CVS Health mission and has been known to “bleed CVS red”.

Christopher Durham is the president of My Private Brand and the co-founder of The Vertex Awards. He is a strategist, author, consultant and retailer who built brands at Delhaize-owned Food Lion, and lead strategy and brand development for Lowe’s Home Improvement. He has consulted with retailers around the world on their private brand portfolios including: Family Dollar, Petco, Staples, Office Depot, Best Buy, Metro (Canada), TLW (Taiwan) and Hola (Taiwan). Durham has published five definitive books on private brands, including his first book, Fifty2: The My Private Brand Project. In 2017, he will debut his newest book, Vanguard: Vintage Originals, a visual tour of innovation and disruption in private brand going back to the mid-1800’s. Dynamic in his presentation while down to earth and frank in his opinions, he has presented at numerous conferences, including FUSE, The Dieline Conference, Packaging that Sells, Omnishopper and PLMA’a annual trade show in Chicago. Durham lives in Charlotte, NC with his wife, Laraine, and two daughters, Olivia and Sarah.
