Michaela joined IKEA 14 years ago. She has over 25 years of retail experience in several countries such as the UK, Greece, Australia, and Portugal. Over the years she has held several positions in IKEA: Country Customer Experience Manager, Store Manager, and Sales Manager. In her current role as Country Commercial Manager, she is Responsible for delivering sustainable, extraordinary growth by creating a new, unique, inspiring meeting with customers through brand positioning, range, home furnishing expertise, and people.
Prior to IKEA she also held several senior management positions at TKMAXX (TJX)in the UK.
Michaela is a leadership coach and a member of the Institute of Executive coaching and leadership (IECL) and believes strongly in developing business through people. Michaela has a passion for home furnishing, understanding life at home and creating a seamless multi-channel customer experience.
