Albert Heijn Reduces Salt & Sugar in Private Brand

\"\"Dutch retailer and Vertex Awards Retailer of the Year Albert Heijn. announced last week reduced the amount of salt in its private brand canned vegetables and baby food. The AH Kidney beans, AH Chickpeas, AH Black beans, AH Cannellini beans, AH Black Eyed beans, AH Borlotti beans are now 0% added salt.

In addition to the beans, nine private brand apple sauce varieties are now 0% added sugar including AH brand and AH bio. This saves no less than 4.5 million sugar cubes on an annual basis.\"\"
