Fred Meyer Appreciates Teachers

Kroger owned grocer Fred Meyer is introducing a Teacher Appreciation Wednesdays program for teachers across all of its Oregon, Washington, Idaho and Alaska markets. The new initiative will provide teachers and all school district employees an extra 10% off of a wide array of products across the store.

Eligible products include the entire Home department (school supplies, housewares, furniture, garden, toys, and more), the entire Apparel department, the entire Home Electronics department (tablets, laptops, TVs, and more), and all private brand food items (including Simple Truth, Private Selection, and Kroger brands).

“We appreciate the service teachers provide educating the children of our community, so we are excited to offer Teacher Appreciation Wednesdays as a ‘Thank You’ for all that they do,” said Dennis Gibson, President of Fred Meyer Stores. “We designed this program to be an easy way for all school district employees to save on items for their homes, families and classrooms.”

The program starts this Wednesday, July 10, and will be in place every Wednesday through September 11, 2019.

Teachers and school employees can receive the discount by simply showing their school ID as they check out at the register.
