Position Summary

Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs; developing and communicating business plans and priorities; removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance; providing resources; identifying performance standards; measuring progress and adjusting performance accordingly; developing contingency plans; and demonstrating adaptability and supporting continuous learning. Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by selecting and training; mentoring; assigning duties; building a team-based work environment; establishing performance expectations and conducting regular performance evaluations; providing recognition and rewards; coaching for success and improvement; and ensuring diversity awareness. Promotes and supports company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by training and providing direction to others in their use and application; ensuring compliance with them; and utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy. Ensures business needs are being met by evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of current plans, programs, and initiatives; consulting with business partners, managers, co-workers, or other key stakeholders; soliciting, evaluating, and applying suggestions for improving efficiency and cost-effectiveness; and participating in and supporting community outreach events.

What you’ll do…

Strategic Business Unit) specific Private Brand Portfolios by identifying customer and operational needs; developing performance standards for processes and project plans; coordinating and driving the conceptual design; developing and implementing brand specific packaging design and artwork solutions based on brand positioning and segmentation; directing and participating in conception, creation, and execution of creative package design solutions based on brand segmentation and target customer; driving the brand messaging for Walmart’s brands; conducts competitive analysis leveraging and collaborating with 3rd party agencies, product suppliers, and industry experts to determine current trends; collaborating with internal cross-functional teams (for example, Marketing, Branding, Merchandising) and key suppliers to gain category or packaging industry insights and knowledge of creative trends; socializing findings with cross-functional stakeholders; establishing creative solutions (for ex

Serves as liaison between packaging suppliers and internal cross-functional teams to ensure compliance to established processes by building partnerships with package suppliers, project managers, and 3rd party organizations; working with senior leadership to socialize and solve issues related to process adherence and supplier performance; collaborating with internal and external partners to facilitate project workflow between cross functional teams; overseeing the implementation of packaging project plans; and developing and presenting presentations to senior executive leadership 3 regarding packaging redesigns and their influencing factors.

Oversees 3rd party agency on-sites to ensure alignment with company objectives and culture by providing clear direction and goals to ensure project clarity; implementing capacity planning strategies and delegating appropriately; fostering a creative team environment where artistic vision, expertise, research, trends, and innovations are shared; educating others about the competitive market place, packaging innovations, trends in the market, materials, and printing processes; and ensuring consistency in work standards.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Graphics Communication, Design, Interactive Design, Visual Studies or related field OR 6 years’ experience in professional design/creative services (for example, print, Consumer Product Goods experience), or related field. 5 years’ experience in Adobe Acrobat Suite.
