Velocity Conference 2019 Moves to the Spring!

12 days ago, the second annual Velocity: The My Private Brand Conference successfully wrapped, despite the threat of Hurricane Florence. The event saw enthusiastic attendance and beautiful weather. Today we are happy to announce the next evolution of the conference with a few significant changes.

First, the conference will move from September to April 29 – May 1, 2019. The new date allows us to shift away from hurricane season (this year was very stressful).

Second, the move will allow us to align the conference with the Vertex Awards strategically. Plans are still in development but look for some exciting announcements.

Third, the conference will remain in Charlotte. Attendees have responded well to the city. The 2019 edition of the conference will relocate to the Le Méridien. The recently remodeled property is a beautiful hotel with a much larger conference facility, a great rooftop bar, and more accessible room rates.

So, the planning begins again, and we are actively recruiting speakers. Do you have a private brand story to tell?

The Velocity conference is looking for executives who are willing to tell their story. Whether you are a VP at a retailer, a leader in an online disruptor, a regional player trying to win, a manufacturer, marketer or innovator, we want to hear your private brand story. The conference is looking for speakers to present their thinking, strategies and private brand success stories. Sessions will cover topics and specialties spanning all facets of private brand strategy, development, innovation, brand management, design, staffing, manufacturing, product development, sourcing, and marketing.

We are looking for new and unique ideas which challenge the status quo.
