Don’t miss Brian Quinn, Director of Proprietary Brands, Petsmart when he presents: Transforming Pet Specialty One Brand At A Time.

Brian Quinn is the Director of Proprietary (private) Brands at PetSmart, overseeing the full portfolio of PetSmart Brands across the store including consumables, hard goods and specialty (small animals and fish).

Brian has more than 15 years of experience in marketing and brand management across the Retail, CPG, and automotive industries. Prior to joining PetSmart, Brian worked at Henkel where he held roles in both the Beauty Care and Laundry divisions, working on iconic brands such as Dial soap, Fa personal care and Snuggle fabric softener.

Brian received his Bachelor of Arts from Loyola Marymount University and his MBA from the University of Southern California. He currently lives in Scottsdale, AZ with his wife and 2 kids, and their dog Damitee (“The Mighty”) Quinn.

Retailer-owned brands are playing an ever-increasing role in the pet space and are giving retailers the opportunity to provide differentiated products to meet specific consumer needs that cannot be found anywhere else. In this discussion, Brian will walk us through the evolving role of proprietary (private) brands, how they enable better customer relationships, and how they will help to shape the future of pet specialty.
