New Podcast Goes Inside Trader Joe’s

This week Monrovia-based grocer and private brand icon Trader Joe’s launched its very first podcast. Inside Trader Joe’s. The five-part series takes listeners behind the scenes at the retailer. Each podcast is 15 to 20 minutes long and includes interviews with customers, the CEO, its president, and founder Joe Coulombe.

According to the TJ’s website

“Inside Trader Joe’s is an extension of that communication and allows us to delve even deeper into what we do, how we started, our plans for the future, and of course answer the questions our customers have asked of us, in our own fun and interesting way.”

Christopher Durham is the president of My Private Brand and the co-founder of The Vertex Awards. He is a strategist, author, consultant and retailer who built brands at Delhaize-owned Food Lion, and lead strategy and brand development for Lowe’s Home Improvement. He has consulted with retailers around the world on their private brand portfolios including: Family Dollar, Petco, Staples, Office Depot, Best Buy, Metro (Canada), TLW (Taiwan) and Hola (Taiwan).
