Purpose of Role:
The primary purpose of this role is to deliver a best-in-class private brands experience at all customer touch points and spearhead the development of a high function team to deliver creative excellence, packaging, and positive customer experience after sale. This includes responsibility for defining and maintaining the services team structure, function, resource allocation, process development, and improvement opportunities. This role ensures that Lowe’s Private Brands program meets corporate objectives and strategies, engages customers at every touch point, and increases sales of private branded products.

Responsibility Statements:

  • Builds and evolves the Creative Services team with top talent in conceptual and adaptive design to develop world-class private brand materials
  • Leads Creative Services team in development of world-class creative designs for all Lowe’s Private Brands packaging and branded materials
  • Develops creative improvement opportunities to help drive increased sales and customer engagement
  • Oversees development and evolution of packaging production processes and resources to drive efficiency and ensure timely turnaround of deliverables
  • Guides team in evaluating and prioritizing workflows and makes necessary changes to resources allocation to meet business needs within working budgets
  • Manages contract negotiations, bring appropriate subject matter expertise, and continues the evolution of the program to better serve customers, merchants, and vendors
  • Builds connections and sponsors the team’s work with all key stakeholders to drive recognition and acceptance of private brand opportunities
  • Leads team and service providers in the evaluation, improvement, and measurement of key customer-focused metrics to drive satisfaction with call center and parts fulfillment
  • Oversees relationships and service level agreements with third party service providers to deliver continuous improvement in service levels and appropriate customer focus
  • Ensures appropriate resources and processes in place for the Compliance Specialists to work effectively with Legal, Merchants, and vendors as required to maintain compliance for certifications and claim substantiation on private branded products

Required Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in in Business, Economics, Graphic Design or related field
  • 8+ years experience leading brand strategy and in brand management
  • Experience in packaging and branded materials or design
  • Experience in a leadership role and working cross-functionally

Preferred Education/Experience:

  • Master’s Degree
  • Experience in a creative leadership, project management, or retail private branding
