Office Depot – Sr. Private Brand Manager

Responsibilities:
The Brand Manager is a key driver in helping ODP meet the needs of the rapid growth expectations of our private brand business. This position is critical to the successful achievement of our private brand business growth plan. It will lead the development and execution of our Private Brand strategy and profit growth plan in collaboration with key cross-functional stakeholders.

The Brand Manager is responsible for developing brand, channel and category level Private Brand growth strategies, and driving their execution. This position will play the role of translating the corporate Private Brand strategy into brand, category and channel specific strategies, and working across the organization to drive their execution. The role requires a thought leader who brings a credible, independent perspective while effectively building collaborative solutions with key stakeholders across multiple parts of the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree, MBA preferred
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a related field.
  • 5+ years experience managing strategic initiatives in the retail and/or consumer products industry, with particular emphasis on driving brand marketing, private brand, brand management, buying/merchandising. Prior experience in a multi-channel retail environment and or/ global business management a plus
  • Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office including Excel, Power Point and Word. Possess strong financial management and analysis skills.

Christopher Durham
Christopher Durham is the president of My Private Brand and the co-founder of The Vertex Awards.
