PLMA’s 2017 “World of Private Label” International Trade Show Seminars

PLMA’s 2017 “World of Private Label” International Trade Show will be held at the RAI Exhibition Centre in Amsterdam, Amsterdam, The Netherlands, May 16-17th 2017. The event will present over 4,300 exhibit stands including nearly 60 national and regional pavilions. Products on display will include fresh, frozen and refrigerated foods, dry grocery, and beverages as well as non-food categories, including cosmetics, health and beauty, household and kitchen, auto aftercare, garden, and housewares & DIY. The show floor is divided into separate food and non-food halls to help visitors make the most of their time.

PLMA offers a special pre-show seminar program prior to the show. Admission to the seminars is complimentary to all registered visitors and exhibitors in possession of a valid “World of Private Label” entrance badge. The seminars will be presented in the Forum room at the RAI Exhibition Centre on Monday, May 15, 2017, from 14.00 – 16.00. Christopher Durham

Christopher Durham is the president of My Private Brand and the co-founder of The Vertex Awards. He is a strategist, author, consultant and retailer who built brands at Delhaize-owned Food Lion, and lead strategy and brand development for Lowe’s Home Improvement. He has consulted with retailers around the world on their private brand portfolios including: Family Dollar, Petco, Staples, Office Depot, Best Buy, Metro (Canada), TLW (Taiwan) and Hola (Taiwan).

Durham has published five definitive books on private brands, including his first book, Fifty2: The My Private Brand Project. In 2017, he will debut his newest book, Vanguard: Vintage Originals, a visual tour of innovation and disruption in private brand going back to the mid-1800’s.
Dynamic in his presentation while down to earth and frank in his opinions, he has presented at numerous conferences, including FUSE, The Dieline Conference, Packaging that Sells, Omnishopper and PLMA’a annual trade show in Chicago.

Durham lives in Charlotte, NC with his wife, Laraine, and two daughters, Olivia and Sarah.
