Solutions for Retail Brands (S4RB) has announced the appointment of its new non-executive retail director. Penny Coates joins the private brand grocery retail specialist with a solid background in the industry having previously worked as private label director at Asda. She also held leading positions at other companies including Mars, PepsiCo and Boots and worked in various non-executive director and advisory roles.
As an executive main board director and managing director at Manchester Airports Group, Penny secured future growth deals and lead customer focus and sustainability programs at major UK airports.
This broad career has given Penny strong retail experience from the perspective of supplier, retailer and retail landlord, being ideal for S4RB who pride themselves on their depth of customer understanding.
On her appointment, Penny said:
