7-Eleven Debuts Limited-Edition Jones Soda Slurpee

joones-soda-711_billboard_image7-Eleven, Inc. today announced the launch of, Jones Soda Co. limited-edition Orange & Cream private brand Slurpee flavor. For a limited time beginning the week of November 1st, the Jones Slurpee drink will be sold exclusively at 400 7-Eleven stores in the states of Washington and Oregon. The Jones Orange & Cream Slurpee flavor is the first cane sugar product for the Slurpee private brand.

“We are thrilled to offer Jones on the iconic 7-Eleven Slurpee in our home market,” says Eric Chastain, Chief Operating Officer, Jones Soda Co.

7-Eleven teamed up with Jones Soda earlier this year to launch a line of premium bottled soft drinks sold under its 7-Select private brand. The premium, carbonated beverages are available in distinct flavors made with natural flavors and lightly sweetened with cane sugar.

“7-Eleven has had great success with so-called ‘hometown hero’ Slurpee flavors, as well as our premium 7-Select premium bottled drinks created by Jones Soda,” said Dennis Phelps, 7-Eleven vice president of proprietary beverages and fresh food. “With Orange & Cream, we think we have another winner for our North Pacific Slurpee-lovers.”

In conjunction with this new Jones Slurpee, Jones Soda will be launching an innovative and fun billboard campaign to celebrate the collaboration with 7-Eleven and the continued strong alignment of our two brands. Landing as the first cane sugar premium soda Slurpee drink reinforces our innovative spirit and our ability to extend the Jones Soda brand!
