Vintage A&P Commercial Revisited.

Occasionally I stumble across amazing things online. It’s really no surprise to discover pet videos, or stupid human tricks, but vintage private brand TV commercials are a bit unusual. This commercial with its cheery jingle seems to foreshadow the death of A&P. It’s sad lyrics promote A&P and Ann Page private brand products and seem to ironically call out A&P’s problems:

“Hey looks us over at A&P, Now we’re the store we said that we would be.”
