This week, Target’s inviting New Yorkers inside a playful, interactive pillow fort to celebrate the launch of their newest private brand the home collection for kids: Pillowfort.
From March 4 to March 6, the retailer is setting up shop near the High Line and inviting parents and kids in for some FREE pint-sized fun. Once inside, visitors can run with the dinosaurs or float in space like an astronaut (two nods to a few of the collection’s fun patterns and themes), all while exploring the collection’s 1,200+ products.
To kick things off, Target hosted actress Maggie Gyllenhaal, actress Katie Holmes, Target partner Camila Alves and other VIP guests at a party inside the fort…
“We’re here to celebrate the launch of the new Pillowfort line from Target,” said Maggie, whose favorite part of the Pillowfort adventure was the “Floral Fields” theme. “The swing looks like something my kids would really dig.”
“It’s very impressive to see a corporation as big as Target be able to come up with a collection that is so personable,” said Camila. “It’s something that can speak to every family, where everyone can find a piece in there and make it special and affordable. I love the touch lights. That’s a big thing especially for little guys—I know my three-year-old would love that.”
