My Private Brand Re Designed!

NEW MY PRIVATE BRANDFrequent My Private Brand readers may have noticed that over the last week the site has been evolving, changing and once even crashing (sorry). All of which are the result of a redesign of the site, timed for the slowest week of the year. So hopefully, you have been vacationing and celebrating the holidays with family and friends and this is your first look at the new site.Welcome to the new and hopefully improved My Private Brand a much needed and long discussed redesign and evolving strategic rethink. Please take your time wander around let me know what you think. Let me know what you like and what you think is missing. This is the fifth major redesign since I launched the site in 2008, which comes almost three years after the last major redesign. The business environment and the competition for readers has dramatically changed since then, three old school trade publications have either died or been absorbed by competitors. My Private Brand is now the oldest publication in Private Brand and it continues to be the only site publishing every business day and the only site pushing retailers and their brands forward. This redesign represents both a significant change for the site and a significant time for Private Brand. We have both come along way and are ready to take the next bold steps.

We’ve updated the site from the ground up with a simple, modern and elegant design that shines on any form factor, be it a tablet, a laptop, or a big desktop display. The site is faster, cleaner and easier to navigate, while embracing our history of design excellence with new larger, brighter photographs, videos and graphics. Article pages are now unique to each article with design that highlights the topic and a variety that keeps the publication fresh and interesting.

This is the first in a series of exciting news from My Private Brand which will include new books, research, guest writers and article series just to name a few.

And of course you will see more from the Vertex Awards and its amazing award winners. Entries are open so test your brands against the best private brands in the world.

    Happy New Year,
