Aldi Commits to Private Brand Champagne for the New Year

Aldi UK is stocking up on its private brand champagne Veuve Monsigny to meet anticipated demand for the New Year. The discounter is increasing its by 50% in the UK, where one in 12 bottles of champagne sold in the UK is Aldi private brand.

Aldi commented “We’re expecting our champagne range to be particularly popular over the coming months. We’re delighted not only to have increased stock of our core-range offering, but also to have introduced some premium bottles – such as our Blanc de Blancs champagne – to allow our customers to enjoy something extra special over the festive season.”
