TreeHouse in final talks to buy Ralcorp


According to a report from Reuters, TreeHouse Foods Inc. is in advanced talks to acquire Ralcorp, in a deal that could be valued between $2.5 b and $2.7 b. In July, Reuters reported that Post Holdings was bidding on the business. Cereal maker Post was spun off by St. Louis-based Ralcorp in 2012 before it was acquired by Conagra.
