Lidl Reveals ‘Pizza FANtastica 2015’

Discount grocer Lidl Italia has introduced a special-edition private brand pizza created by the grocer’s customer on its official Facebook page. During the ‘Pizza FANtastica 2015’ promotion in June & July, Facebook fans created more than 10,000 pizzas, selecting two crusts and 24 ingredients using a crowdsourcing app. The winning pie was “Gorgonzola with bacon and walnuts.”

The naturally leavened and baked in a wood oven pizza is now available for€2.49.
