woolworths delicious nutritious frontNext week Australian retailer Woolworths will launch its newest private brand Woolworths Delicious Nutritious. The new line is endorsed by Australian personal trainer, author and TV personality Michelle Bridges. She is best known as a trainer on the Australian version of The Biggest Loser. The line debuts on October 19th.

Bazil Stander, Executive Innovation Chef Lead – Woolworths Australia lead the recipe development of the new frozen ready meal range with along developer Kate Travers & brand manager Gemma Howells.

Every meal contains 225g / 3 servings of vegetables and nutritious whole grains like quinoa, whole wheat couscous, freekeh and brown rice. All the are less than 450 calories each making this the perfect balanced & healthy meal choice

No added sugar or salt has been used in the recipe development – instead we have packed in flavor by using fresh herbs, spices & spice pastes like chimichurri, harissa & chermoula.
