The Omnishopper Private Brand Symposium Begins Tomorrow!

Private Brand Symposium

The groundbreaking private brand event of the year begins tomorrow. The new Private Brand Symposium at Omnishopper 2015. The conference will be held July 20-22, 2015, at the beautiful Radisson Blu in Chicago. The OmniShopper 2015 Conference has been the event of choice for the retail industry for over a decade. Experts from leading Retailers and Brands will address the dramatic shifts in shopper behavior and define the next generation of strategy.

Join me in Chicago as the world’s leading retailers – Walgreens, Target, Walmart, Zappos, Groupon, Sports Authority, Safeway, Albertsons, Ahold, Giant, Stop & Shop, Big Lots and Mapco – discuss the latest strategies, trends and ground-breaking innovations that are transforming both branding and retail.

I have the pleasure of chairing the Private Brand Symposium which is focused on a bold but simple concept:

The advent of social media, mobile and ecommerce (Amazon) has dramatically changed the retail landscape. It’s no longer enough to simply stock the same brands and products as the store across the street – Retailers must differentiate. In order to survive they must utilize every differentiation tool at their disposal. They must build their own [private] brands that customers know and love.

The Private Brand Symposium at OmniShopper will present the nation’s leading retailers discussing the strategies, insights and Private Brands that are helping them not only survive, but change and win.

And don’t miss my presentation:

Cdurham - CheersThe Future of Brand is Private Brand, WEDNESDAY, JULY 22, 2015  at 11:00
The future of Private Brand lies not in the ugly generic, private label of the past but instead in a customer focused future that creates and manages brands that solve problems, validated aspirations and celebrate lifestyles. In this proactive presentation Durham will discuss the changes of the last five years and the trends that will shape the next 20.

This event is personally exciting because I have had the opportunity to curate an elite set of retail presenters including:
