The resulting private brand beer is Whole Buffalo Saison, a 7 percent ABV saison that incorporates Texas grapefruit and coriander along with hops from Germany, New Zealand and the U.S. Five barrels of the saison was brewed when Buffalo Bayou head brewer Ryan Robertson visited the Whole Foods in early February. The draft-only release was officially launched March 5th at a Whole Foods beer pairing dinner. The beer is available on tap and in growlers.
