“So many of our customers told us they were looking for a gourmet popcorn here in Michiana just like the kind they enjoy in Chicago and other large cities,” says Phil Plummer, Martin’s Vice President, Sales and Marketing. “We did a lot of research and made the decision to invest in the right equipment and the right people. We think the flavor combos we’ve developed are just right, and we have plans to introduce even more selections down the road.”

For now, Martin’s customers can purchase the popcorn in both individual and family size packages. Larger sizes will become available in the near future. The company is also planning to expand the line with specialty-roasted nuts and candy combinations, all made in the on-site Popcorn Shoppe.

All popcorn varieties are made from Indiana-grown corn and are also gluten free and whole grain, with no transfat.

Introductory Martin’s Signature Specialty Popcorn flavors include: Marvelous Mix, CaramelKrunch with Praline Pecans, Deluxe CaramelKrunch with Honey Roasted Peanuts and White Chocolate Drizzle, Deluxe CheddarCorn, Deluxe CaramelCorn, Rainbow Munch-kin Mix and seasonal selections Christmas Mix and Reindeer Trax.

Kaitlyn Miner has been named manager of the Popcorn Shoppe.
