Carrefour To Open Private Brand Sandwich Stores

French retailer Carrefour has a couple of Private Brand sandwich and snack stores in the works. The stores are slated to feature the retailers Bon App’ Private Brand.

Two stores are planned, the first of which is likely to open at a Paris transportation hub next year.

Carrefour has previously targeted the convenience food market with its Carrefour City Café as well as their mall format organic Private Brand concept in Paris Carrefour Bio.

The French convenience market is rapidly evolving as British retailer Marks & Spencer has entered the country with its M&S Simply Food stores.
