Aeon To Double Organic Private Brand Products


Japanese retailer Aeon announced yesterday that it will increase the number of chemical-free organic food private brand products in its Topvalu brand to 120 from the current 62. All of the products will be available at some 4,000 Aeon group stores across Japan.

The organic products will be sourced globally from Japan, China, the United States and Europe. The move is planned to increase the sales of organic items to 20 billion yen in 2015 from 5.6 billion yen in 2013
