This week the Greensboro, NC Fox affiliate FOX8 featured Harris Teeter Private Brand salsa in its FOX8 Chef Test against national brand heavy weights Tostitos, Pace and Newman’s Own. The station brought three chefs from the Piedmont region of North Carolina together in the fine dining restaurant Marisol in Greensboro, NC. Chefs Tim Thompson of Marisol in Greensboro, NC, Christina Fuller of Crafted the Art of the Taco and Al Romano chef instructor at Guilford Technical Community College each evaluated the four salsas in a blind taste test and selected the Harris Teeter Private Brand salsa as the winner.
