Swiss retailer Migros has introduced a new line of Private Brand ice cream novelties with packaging developed by the design agency allink. The packaging for the treats is designed to attract attention due to the straight-line and bold minimal design. Which is designed to evoke memories in the Swiss shopper of a summer vacation in Italy, a colored Vespa scooter and a time, when everything was little bit simpler.
The products photography is bold and simple on a field of color, it is centered of attention. The typography conveys value und supports fast communication whereas the applied patterns provide a playful element. The patterns create a connection between the cardboard box and the wrap, and lend refinement to the design.
