Fort Worth, Texas based broker Marketing Management, Inc (MMI) announced late last week the hire of Tim Hauser as Vice President of Strategic Business Alliances. In this role, Hauser will help identify and pursue incremental and additional business that leverages MMI’s current brokerage, consumer research, and brand development divisions in order to develop new lines of business for MMI. Hauser states, “I’m excited about the future of MMI and the range of services we offer to our industry. By developing services that fit today’s business challenges MMI is uniquely positioned to be engaged across a broader spectrum and more relevant in supporting our client’s needs.”

A native of North Carolina, Hauser received his BS degree in Business Administration from Appalachian State University and did post graduate work at the University of Phoenix. Hauser has worked for CPG manufacturers Kimberly-Clark and Kal Kan Foods (a division of Mars), held senior management roles at CBS Marketing (AZ.), Advantage Sales and Marketing, and Crossmark. Most recently, Hauser worked for the Fuel Rewards Network, a loyalty marketing business where fuel rewards are used to drive sales of consumer goods. Hauser has also been involved in multiple start-up businesses, utilizing his sales and marketing expertise to guide and advise companies through their launch. MMI will build off of Hauser’s CPG roots.

MMI will build on our heritage of being the trusted resource for success by providing the right expertise at the right time to help our clients succeed.” Hauser will be based out of MMI’s corporate office in Fort Worth, Texas.

Christopher Durham

Christopher Durham is the president of My Private Brand and the co-founder of The Vertex Awards. He is a strategist, author, consultant and retailer who built brands at Delhaize-owned Food Lion, and lead strategy and brand development for Lowe’s Home Improvement. He has consulted with retailers around the world on their private brand portfolios including: Family Dollar, Petco, Staples, Office Depot, Best Buy, Metro (Canada), TLW (Taiwan) and Hola (Taiwan).

Durham has published five definitive books on private brands, including his first book, Fifty2: The My Private Brand Project. In 2017, he will debut his newest book, Vanguard: Vintage Originals, a visual tour of innovation and disruption in private brand going back to the mid-1800’s.
Dynamic in his presentation while down to earth and frank in his opinions, he has presented at numerous conferences, including FUSE, The Dieline Conference, Packaging that Sells, Omnishopper and PLMA’a annual trade show in Chicago.

Durham lives in Charlotte, NC with his wife, Laraine, and two daughters, Olivia and Sarah.
