Private Brand BBQ From ICA

ICA-BBQ-01Swedish retailer ICA has released a new of barbeque-focused line of Private Brand products ranging from meat to charcoal.

Barbecue culture is incredibly strong in Sweden during the spring and summer. As a result ICA developed a holistic lifestyle focused concept for all their Private Brand barbecue related products. The solution designed by Silver, of Sweden is a cohesive cross category design concept that communicates taste in the food category and efficiency in the equipment category while engaging the shopper with the romance of the BBQ.ICA-BBQ-02

Christopher Durham is the president of My Private Brand and the co-founder of The Vertex Awards. He is a strategist, author, consultant and retailer who built brands at Delhaize-owned Food Lion, and lead strategy and brand development for Lowe’s Home Improvement. He has consulted with retailers around the world on their private brand portfolios including: Family Dollar, Petco, Staples, Office Depot, Best Buy, Metro (Canada), TLW (Taiwan) and Hola (Taiwan). Durham has published five definitive books on private brands, including his first book, Fifty2: The My Private Brand Project.
