What better way to honor the USA this Independence Day than by helping Americans in need?
Minneapolis based retailer Target has partnered with humanitarian and designer Lauren Bush to create an exclusive Private Brand FEED USA collaboration the limited time-only lifestyle collection of 50 items each tagged with the number of meals it will provide when it is purchased. The line launched June 30 and will benefit Feeding America, the nation’s leading domestic hunger-relief charity.
Target hopes to provide 10 million meals and just in time for the Fourth, the limited time-only collection features a modern Americana aesthetic. Add some red, white and blue to your Fourth of July table with everything you need from pie pans to aprons for a patriotic picnic celebration.
I love this idea and the products that I have seen are great – I just wish they had carried it into the grocery side of the store and created some food products – it seems like such a natural extension of the idea.
