Fresh&Easy - frontTesco’s soon to be sold, Fresh & Easy Neighborhood Market is giving customers even more reason to be thankful for Fridays this month with the launch of its TGIF & Easy promotion.

Every Friday in the month of May, customers can receive a special free item to make the start of their weekends even easier. Each week Fresh & Easy will announce the special Friday-only deal on its website, Facebook page and by email to Friends Loyalty Program Members.

This past Friday, May 3, customers could receive a free box of fresh&easy Privatre Brand taco shells with the purchase of a 2 lb pack of Private Brand fresh&easy ground chuck beef 80/20 to help make customers’ Cinco de Mayo celebrations more affordable.

A coupon is needed to receive the free item and this week’s TGIF & Easy coupon is available to download at www.freshandeasy.com.

“Now there is another great reason to love Fridays,” said Fresh & Easy Chief Customer Officer John Burry. “We wanted to kick off summer with a fun promotion and TGIF & Easy is a great way to celebrate the end of the work week and makes enjoying good food over the weekend easier and more affordable.”

Christopher Durham

Christopher Durham is the president of My Private Brand and the co-founder of The Vertex Awards. He is a strategist, author, consultant and retailer who built brands at Delhaize-owned Food Lion, and lead strategy and brand development for Lowe’s Home Improvement. He has consulted with retailers around the world on their private brand portfolios including: Family Dollar, Petco, Staples, Office Depot, Best Buy, Metro (Canada), TLW (Taiwan) and Hola (Taiwan).

Durham has published five definitive books on private brands, including his first book, Fifty2: The My Private Brand Project. In 2017, he will debut his newest book, Vanguard: Vintage Originals, a visual tour of innovation and disruption in private brand going back to the mid-1800’s.
Dynamic in his presentation while down to earth and frank in his opinions, he has presented at numerous conferences, including FUSE, The Dieline Conference, Packaging that Sells, Omnishopper and PLMA’a annual trade show in Chicago.

Durham lives in Charlotte, NC with his wife, Laraine, and two daughters, Olivia and Sarah.
