The economic struggles across Europe aren’t stopping the growth of Private Brand. The 2013 World of Private Label is expected to be bigger than ever, with more than 3,800 exhibit stands. The exhibition will feature manufacturers from 70 countries, including 42 national and regional pavilions. The event attracts retail and wholesale buyers and executives from supermarkets, hypermarkets, drugstores, discounters, department stores, specialty stores, DIY, cash & carry, the hospitality industry, plus buying groups and imports and exporters from over 100 countries.
This year, there will be several new international pavilions, including Hungary, Croatia, Korea, Noord-Brabant (The Netherlands), Ecuador, Mexico and Murcia, Spain.
Also featured on the trade show floor are two popular attractions, Idea Supermarket and New Product Expo. Idea Supermarket displays private label ranges of more than 60 retailers in Europe, United States, Latin America, Africa and Asia. The theme of Idea Supermarket is “Trends in Private Label.” New Product Expo showcases more than 350 products of the latest innovations in the private label industry in various production fields from product to marketing to packaging.
