The Eighth Annual Lucerne The Art of Dairy “ImaginDairy Places” Art Contest!

It’s that time of year again. Time to break out the colored pencils and enter the Eighth Annual Lucerne The Art of Dairy Art Contest! Sponsored by Safeway’s iconic Private Brand Lucerne. “ImaginDairy Places” is all about taking imagination to the next level and re-imagining the world made entirely of dairy. Students may get started by visiting www.artofdairy.com, printing the Lucerne cow template and most of all having fun. Once all of the entries have been received, America will get to decide who wins by voting for the finalists!

The Lucerne The Art of Dairy Art Contest has positively impacted students’ lives for the past seven years. Some students have used their winnings towards art studies in college. In addition, with funding for art programs being drastically reduced, programs like this have helped support art departments like yours.

Students enrolled in Grades 9-12* (ages 13 and over) in a participating U.S. accredited middle school, junior high school, or high school at the time of entry are eligible to enter.

Prizes include — a $20,000 grand prize will be awarded to the winning school’s art department, plus $5,000 for both the winning student and teacher! The school with the most entries wins $1,000 for their art department!

Here’s a look at some past winners.
