Win a Years Supply of Private Brand Pet Food From Bi-Lo

Mauldin, SC headquartered grocery Bi-Lo announced a new Facebook based contest designed to promote its Paws Pet Food Private Brand. Customers may submit entries from July 06, 2012 through August 03, 2012.

Prizes include:

Grand Prize: 1st Place One year’s supply of Paws Pet Food, a Gift Basket of Toys, Snacks and Grooming Products.

2nd Prize: Six months supply of Paws Pet Food a Gift Basket of Toys, and Snacks.

3rd Prize: Three months supply of Paws Pet Food and a Gift Basket of Toys.

Contest Instructions

  • Each entry should have a picture of the owner and their dog.
  • Each picture must have any Paws product, incorporated in the picture.
  • Each entrant should write a short bio on themselves and their dog to be used in the commentary on the catwalk. Humor appreciated.
  • Players may enter more than once, but the picture must be different.
  • The selection of 15 pictures to be taken from all of the entries and will be voted on by a panel from BI-LO’s marketing and advertising department. These 15 entrants will be invited to participate in “Walking the Dog” (A parade of the featured owners and pets) on Sunday afternoon at the show.
  • The winner does not need to be present to win.
  • The winning pictures will be posted in the BI-LO area at the show, for the public to vote by ballot for their favorites throughout the weekend.

Only persons residing in Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee who are at least 18 years of age can enter.

Christopher Durham

Christopher Durham is the president of My Private Brand and the co-founder of The Vertex Awards. He is a strategist, author, consultant and retailer who built brands at Delhaize-owned Food Lion, and lead strategy and brand development for Lowe’s Home Improvement. He has consulted with retailers around the world on their private brand portfolios including: Family Dollar, Petco, Staples, Office Depot, Best Buy, Metro (Canada), TLW (Taiwan) and Hola (Taiwan).

Durham has published five definitive books on private brands, including his first book, Fifty2: The My Private Brand Project. In 2017, he will debut his newest book, Vanguard: Vintage Originals, a visual tour of innovation and disruption in private brand going back to the mid-1800’s.
Dynamic in his presentation while down to earth and frank in his opinions, he has presented at numerous conferences, including FUSE, The Dieline Conference, Packaging that Sells, Omnishopper and PLMA’a annual trade show in Chicago.

Durham lives in Charlotte, NC with his wife, Laraine, and two daughters, Olivia and Sarah.
