Safeway Launches New Private Brand Coffee Pods

Just days after Kroger Co told Reuters it was launching Private Brand coffee pods for the Keurig machine, Pleasanton, California-based grocer Safeway announced that it is adding to its line of Private Brand coffee pods. Safeway launched three Safeway SELECT coffee pod flavors: French Vanilla Cappuccino, Hazelnut Cappuccino and Milk Chocolate Hot Cocoa in January of this year; the new products will be true filtered coffee varieties.
