Position Description
The Senior Manager I Souring has the following responsibilities: Drives and manages in season activities related to sourcing private label and non branded product through all sourcing paths. Develops and leverages internal and external partnerships and networks to maximize the achievement of business goals and results. Identifies and prioritizes strategic sourcing projects that support cost saving initiatives. Evaluates supply chain processes to identify key strategic supply chain opportunities and initiatives with the primary objective of reducing inventory, lead time, sustainability, and landed costs. Understands, communicates, and delivers buyer strategy for product procurement.
Minimum Qualification: 4 to 6 years experience
Additional Preferred Quailification
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field (Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations) 8 to 10 years experience Strategic Planning and Thinking Skills Knowledge of materials management Ability to statistically model data Knowledge of Product Life Cycle and Seasonal Trends Skill in Document Management Business Assessment Acumen
