This month’s edition of Cooking Light magazine includes the article, “Our Favorite Store-Brand Products” the article follows one earlier this week from Advertising Age, “Private Brands Evolve From Generics to Must-Haves” and begins to signal an emerging trend from the mainstream media. In both articles Private Brands and their products are presented, as must haves, greatin their own right.
Not surprisingly Target and Whole Foods top the list with the most selections, but my favorite little neglected brand at Walmart – World Table shows up with one selection and the Salsa Verde is tasty – perhaps this will help the brand get a little love from the folks in Bentonville – my readers constantly complain of out of stocks and delisted products..
