  1. Supervises a team of 5 plus designers as well as external resources.
  2. Plays a lead role in the development, design and editing of a wide variety of new and innovative creative across multiple media forms including print, packaging and web.
  3. Works closely with internal business leaders to develop content ideas, and create impactful design for marketing communications programs.
  4. Partner with team members to develop strong, compelling concepts that position our brand against the competition and engage customers.
  5. Presents Design concepts, serving as manager in formal meetings with senior and management level team members, for design review and approval.
  6. Plans and monitors projects and tasks to meet or exceed expectations. Maintains an updated project list of all design jobs, statuses and deadlines from start to end, prioritizes projects and effectively manages design team workflow. Promotes cooperation and good working relationships among team members.


  1. Bachelor Degree
  2. Solid Design skills to ensure accuracy of advertising materials

Christopher Durham is the president of My Private Brand and the co-founder of The Vertex Awards. He is a strategist, author, consultant and retailer who built brands at Delhaize-owned Food Lion, and lead strategy and brand development for Lowe’s Home Improvement. He has consulted with retailers around the world on their private brand portfolios including: Family Dollar, Petco, Staples, Office Depot, Best Buy, Metro (Canada), TLW (Taiwan) and Hola (Taiwan).
