A&P Private Brand Products Offer Tasty Options for Your Holiday Meal

Montvale, N.J. based grocer The Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company, Inc. (A&P) has a full range of fresh, new options to make this year’s holiday meal stand out from the rest.

A&P carries an exclusive line of all-natural Mid-Atlantic Country Farms fresh turkeys that are raised on farms within close proximity to the communities we serve. For added value this holiday season, A&P’s annual holiday discount program offers shoppers the chance to earn coupons worth 5 percent off a future order based on their grocery spending through December 22. Consumers can collect and save their coupons for a maximum total discount of 50% off of a future order during the promotional period. Depending on their preference, Pathmark customers are able to redeem the first earned reward as a 5 percent discount or a free turkey.

For a healthy alternative to traditional gravy, shoppers can try A&P’s new line of Hartford Reserve Premium Canadian Mustards, which offers creative options for recipes and appetizer dips. “Using the Amazing Maple mustard as a substitute for butter can cut down on saturated fat, without sacrificing taste,” says A&P’s Corporate Dietitian Jacqueline Gomes. An assortment of the 12 Hartford Reserve mustard varieties are now available in all A&P, Waldbaum’s, Superfresh and Pathmark stores, and six varieties are available at all New York City Food Emporium stores.
