Bi-Lo Celebrates 50th Anniversary With Private Brands

\"\"As part of its Mauldin, South Carolina based grocer Bi-Lo’s 50th anniversary celebration the retailer is touring North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Tennessee with its Blast From The Past vintage Airstream trailer, Bi-Lo will offer the opportunity to win $250 of groceries

Ten winners at each event will receive $250 worth of groceries, with nine of those winners at the event and one winner chosen through Bi-Lo’s Facebook page. Another 10 winners will receive a free tank of gas at the event, valued at up to $70. Bi-Lo will also give away 25 reusable shopping bags filled with Private Brand products, and 100 people will walk away with a retro T-shirt celebrating of the company’s 50-year heritage.

Christopher Durham is the president of My Private Brand and the co-founder of The Vertex Awards. In 2017, he will debut his newest book, Vanguard: Vintage Originals, a visual tour of innovation and disruption in private brand going back to the mid-1800’s.
