Coles To Sell Australian Milk Private Brand Cheese

Australian supermarket chain Coles is moving to an all-Australian Private Brand cheese for its stores. The Bega Cheese company will produce 19,000 tons of cheeses in a five-year deal that will create 30 new jobs across its Victorian and NSW plants.

Coles cheddar and mozzarella will be made entirely with Australian milk when the contract begins in February. Bega will expand production for the new contract at its Coburg plant in Melbourne, Strathmerton in northern Victoria, and Bega in southern NSW.
