ABC Local News Applauds Family Gourmet

It is no surprise that Private Brands continue to receive a lot of attention from the media, however it may come as a surprise to many readers that Family Gourmet the new Private Brand food line from Matthews based discounter Family Dollar is in the spotlight for both its value proposition and its quality. In this newsclip from WPVI the ABC affiliate in Philadelphia the new brand is put to the test and comes out a winner.

It is nice to see newly developed retailer owned brands supporting and even enhancing the brand promise of the retailer. Family Dollar is well known for its great prices and small footprint local stores, with the launch of Family Gourmet it now also has the potential to build credibility and loyalty at America’s dinner table.
