Wegmans Launches Private Brand “Products We Love” Contest.

Rochester, New York based grocer Wegmans is celebrating the 10th anniversary of its Menu Magazine with a “Products We Love” promotion which features a contest focused on it’s Private Brands.

To participate customers may enter by going to www.wegmans.com/productswelove and entering a response between Feb. 7 and  11:59 p.m. (EST) on Feb. 28. Wegmans said one winner will be selected at random. Shoppers must subscribe to Wegmans Fresh Stories blog by email and submit a comment about which Wegmans brand product they’ve fallen in love with over the past decade and why.

Responses to date have included:

My family and I fell in love with the Wegman’s basting oil. It is so easy to use and makes the preparation of so many foods incredibly easy and absolutely delicious. My husband loves to roast fresh vegetables from Wegmans, in the oven. My teenage daughters enjoy pan searing potatoes and steaming vegetables, especially stringbeans. I love to create the various seafood Al Forno recipes, the shrimp from Belize being one of our absolute favorites. We use basting oil all the time. We wish it came in a larger bottle! We can’t cook without it.

I ADORE Wegmans brand low-fat yogurt. Cherry is my favorite flavor. I eat at least two a day! It’s creamy, not too sweet, and hits the spot. It’s a treat I feel good about!

I love ALL of the “Super Yogurts”, including the new fruit on the bottom lineup. I was so excited to see Cherry yogurt finally!!! Cherry has always been my favorite yogurt flavor, and Wegmans Super Yogurt has always been my favorite brand; now I have the best of both worlds! My husband and I both eat a yogurt daily because not only is it tasty, but it’s such great nutrition for our bodies! When my mom was up visiting from North Carolina, she bought some to take back home with her to share with my dad!
