“Three to Get Ready” from Brookshire Grocery

Tyler, Texas based supermarket Brookshire Grocery Co. is running a promotion in support of its Private Brands. The program offers an incentive for consumers to buy its Private Brand canned vegetables.  Shoppers who purchase 10 or more Food Club canned vegetables with their loyalty cards are automatically entered for a chance to win a $100 Brookshire’s gift card. The promotion runs through February 1.

In other Private Brand News from Brookshire, from September 1st through October 12th, Brookshire’s promoted the “Three to Get Ready” sweepstakes to give away a new 2010 Camaro 2SS at Texas Motor Speedway.

As the Official Grocery Store of TMS, Brookshire’s wanted to create even more excitement with their NASCAR fans by giving away the same model pace car.

For every three Food Club items purchased using their Thank You loyalty card, customers earned an entry for a chance to win the Camaro. Five randomly-chosen finalists won a NASCAR weekend package, including tickets and pit passes to the O’Reilly Auto Parts and AAA Texas 500 races, a one-night stay at the Gaylord Texan, a $250 Brookshire’s gift card, and a $200 Visa check card.

On November 7th, the Food Club Three to Get Ready sweepstakes came to an exciting conclusion at Texas Motor Speedway before the AAA Texas 500. A large audience gathered to watch the finalists draw a key in hopes of turning on the Grand Prize Camaro. After the first two finalists failed to turn the car on, Lue Ann Robles from Hillsboro, TX sat in the driver’s seat, turned the ignition, and started up a new 2010 Camaro 2SS!  Now, she can have even more fun doing her grocery shopping!

The Robles family recently took a spin to their local Brookshire’s at 120 S. Waco Dr. in Hillsboro, TX.  The family has been a loyal shopper for the past 9 years, ever since moving to the area.  Several Brookshire’s Partners offered their congratulations along with balloons and cake. Everyone was definitely excited that one of their own customers was the grand prize winner.
