Sunflower Farmers Market Goes Private Brand

In 2011, Boulder, Colorado based grocer Sunflower Farmers Market plans to roll out new packaging for its 1,000-plus SKU Sunflower Farmers Market Private Brand. The decision came after the retailer acquired the rights to use its name on Private Brand products from Supervalu.

Sunflower previously avoided the use of their name by using a illustrated sunflower and its ad line, “Serious food, silly prices.”
