Weis Partners with Utz for Private Brand Chips

Sunbury, Pennsylvania based grocer Weis Markets announced the introduction of a new line Private Brand chips, Weis 5 Star Chips by Utz. The premium line includes 25 types of chips, pretzels, and party mixes. The retailer leverages the well-known premium Pennsylvania chip brand “Utz” to co-brand their Private Brand line and bring credibility to the offering.

Christopher Durham
Christopher Durham is the president of My Private Brand and the co-founder of The Vertex Awards. He is a strategist, author, consultant and retailer who built brands at Delhaize-owned Food Lion, and lead strategy and brand development for Lowe’s Home Improvement.
