Salisbury, North Carolina based, Delhaize owned grocer Food Lion continues its innovative promotion of its Private Brands with the launch of a four-week online recipe contest to promoting its Private Brands.
The Food Lion Private Brand Holiday Bake Off, launched this past Wednesday and runs through December 14, two winners will be named each week. Consumers may enter by submitting their favorite holiday recipe that uses at least one product from the Food Lion portfolio of Private Brands, including Food Lion, Smart Option and Taste of Inspirations.
There will be two (2) potential prize winners selected for each week, for a total of eight (8) potential prize winners. Each prize winner will receive $500 Food Lion Gift Cards and an assortment of Food Lion Home 360 baking products.
Each of the four weeks focuses on a different holiday food: Week 1 is holiday cookies; Week 2, pies; Week 3, cakes and breads; and Week 4, appetizers. Each week, 50 recipes will be randomly drawn and judged.
