Private Brand Cruises the High Seas

In what is a unique if not exciting Private Brand story Carnival Cruises is entering the beer business: Beginning next year, the line will introduce a Private Brand beer, ThirstyFrog Red, at The RedFrog Pub, the beer will only be available aboard the Carnival Magic. The beer is a “medium-bodied lager with a rich red color made with noble aroma hops, caramel and black malts” with a slightly sweet aftertaste.

It will be served alongside Caribbean beers and snacks in the RedFrog, which figures to be “a traditional pub but with a Caribbean twist,” said Glenn Aprile, Carnival Cruise Line’s manager of product development.
