Private Label Marketing and Packaging-Finding the Mix That Maximizes ROI is designed to help navigate the nearly limitless combinations of marketing and packaging options available to new or existing brands. Panelists will explore what has worked, what hasn’t worked and provide a glimpse of what will work when it comes to launching your own brand or project under your own name. Industry experts in the fields of manufacturing, marketing, package design as well as retail will share their perspective on finding the right mix for your business.

Ian Ginsberg, Pharmacist/Proprietor of C.O. Bigelow will address the retailer’s perspective on what works in store at point of sale. Speaking from the creative side, Andy Johnson, Creative Partner of United* DSN will touch on packaging trends. Finally, Pam Busiek, President/Co-Owner of CBI Laboratories will highlight the successes and failures that can arise from embarking on a private label.

Ian Ginsberg, Pharmacist and Proprietor of C.O. Bigelow, has scoured the globe year after year to orchestrate a supreme collection of beauty imports from all over the world. Several luxury products validate the C.O. Bigelow slogan, “If you can’t find it anywhere else, try Bigelow.” Hailed by WWD as The Apothecary Guru, Ginsberg’s historic and constantly evolving knowledge of what a true apothecary should be is unrivaled.

Andy Johnson, Creative Partner of United* DSN, joined forces with partners Lawrence Haggerty and Perry Seelert in 2006 to launch United* DSN, which in a short period of time has become a renowned, award- winning creative agency with offices in both New York and San Francisco. Since co-founding United* DSN, Johnson has led the company’s expansion into multiple disciplines from strategic brand planning and packaging design, to print and web development. During his three years with the company Johnson was integral in increasing the design department’s revenue from $3 million in 2002 to $7 million in 2005, while elevating the level of creativity to award-winning status.

United* is all over the map these days. Seelert just spoke at Shopper Insights in Chicago yesterday and Johnson will speak at Cosmpoprof.

Pam Busiek, President and Co-Owner of CBI Laboratories, has influenced the professional skincare world through her insistence on excellence, innovation results-oriented products within the retail and service business of salons, spas, medical, and wellness industries.
