Balthazar’s Own Private Brand

My regular readers may remember that I usual make my way to New York City a couple of times a year for both business and pleasure. They may not however know that I am a restaurant junkie (there is probably another blog there) so visiting the Big Apple is my Nirvana. One of my favorite restaurants is the traditional French bistro owned by Keith McNally whose chefs de cuisine Riad Nasr and Lee Hanson never fail to amaze. So two passions collided in this beautiful packaging for the Balthazar Private Brand specialty pair of espresso or cafe au lait cups, it was meant to be treasured for as long as the gift inside. Tipped-in, silk screened and wrapped in red linen, this box holds the product safely nestled within custom printed tissue paper.

The packaging was designed by Christine Celic Strohl of Mucca Design.
